Russian Opposition Holds Moscow March

Thousands of protesters marched in Moscow on June 12, calling for Russian President Vladimir Putin's resignation and the release of activists facing long jail terms over violence at a rally on the eve of his inauguration to a third term last year. Some 10,000 protesters chanted "Russia without Putin!" and "Freedom for political prisoners" under a heavy police presence while Putin doled out awards at a lavish ceremony. Reuters video
